Visit to VIllage #80 , Sardar Colony & Bakhtopura - September 18 & 20, 2021

Umair visited Village #80 on 9/18/21 (see photo and video below). On 9/20/21, Umair had a meeting at Sardar Colony with Pastors Barnabas and Peter John and he did a follow up visit to the ministry sewing center project in Bakhtopura.

Visit to Sewing Center in Bakhtopura (September 2, 2021)

The sewing center has been open since March 2021, with the goal being to help women learn skills to be able to support themsleves and their family in a Christian environment. The center is located in a rented house in the village of Bakhtopura, 12 km from Gojra. The center has 20 students, women ranging in age from 18 to into their 30s. The training takes six months and the students learn to sew everything from men's, women's and children's clothing. The major ongoing expenses for the center include a salary for the sewing center teacher, house rent, fabric and replacement sewing machines. Originally, the machines cost about $50 each, earlier this year, but now the cost has increased to closer to $75 each.

Umair's visit to Village 181 (September 2021)

The people in this village work in a brick factory and are construction laborers. Umair had a prayer and teaching meeting here on 9/3/21, sharing about the love of Jesus Christ for them. Umair shared Proverbs 10:12, "Hatred stirs up strife, But love covers all sins" due to fighting and strife there.

And, on 9/14/21, Umair came back to Village #181 to minister again and distribute food:

SOME OF THE CURRENT MINISTRY NEEDS ARE:

From September 3rd to the 16th, 2021 in Pakistan a major lockdown was in place due to the Covid 19 Virus. There have been a few temporary lockdowns in 2021 in Pakistan. These lockdowns hit the poor and Christians particularly hard since there is no work and people face desperate need for food and basic supplies. Umair's ministry has, with the help of donors, been a blessing by helping with emergency food and supplies to many Christian villagers working in brick factories in Punjab state.
Funds to allow the ministry to provide some support and offerings to ministers and pastors that partner with Umair in doing ministry.
Funds to help the ministry provide food and basics to Christians in desperate need in the villages of Punjab state.
Funds to help the ministry with ongoing support for the sewing center started in March 2021, which helps Christian women learn to sew so they can help provide for themselves and their families.
Ongoing support for Umair for his living expenses and so he may travel in his outreach ministry to villages around Gojra, his home city, on his motorcycle..

UMAIR'S TESTIMONY

Umair was born in 1995 in Gojra, Punjab state of Pakistan.

Umair attended government and Catholic schools.

He was born again as a Christian in 2013.

After that, Umair spent his time:

*Studying and learning God's Word,

*Being involved in a prayer group with other young men, and

*Ministering to the villagers around Gojra, his home city.

Through Umair, the Lord led or helped lead the young men in his prayer group to Christ.

Since then, he has continued to minister to the poor and orphans and reach others for Jesus Christ in this ancient, exotic land of Pakistan among the villages of Punjab state.

Punjab is one of Pakistan's largest states and is home to over 12,000 villages.

Umair has a heart for the people of Pakistan, especially the village people near Gojra. He also has a heart to do a work for the Lord.

As his Christian brother and pastor friend, Daniel from America, I can testify that Umair has a strong faith, a love for the Word of God, a very gentle and loving spirit and he is an excellent witness for Jesus Christ.

THE NICENE CREED

Other than the Apostles’ Creed, the Nicene Creed is likely the most universally accepted and recognized statements of the Christian faith. The Nicene Creed was first adopted in A.D. 325 at the Council of Nicea. The Roman Emperor Constantine had convened the Council of Nicea in an attempt to unify the Christian church with one doctrine, especially on the issues of the Trinity and the deity and humanity of Jesus Christ. The Nicene Creed reads as follows: "We believe in one God the Father Almighty, Maker of heaven and earth, and of all things visible and invisible. “And in one Lord Jesus Christ, the only-begotten Son of God, begotten of the Father before all worlds, God of God, Light of Light, Very God of Very God, begotten, not made, being of one substance with the Father by whom all things were made; who for us men, and for our salvation, came down from heaven, and was incarnate by the Holy Spirit of the Virgin Mary, and was made man, and was crucified also for us under Pontius Pilate. He suffered and was buried, and the third day he rose again according to the Scriptures, and ascended into heaven, and sitteth on the right hand of the Father. And he shall come again with glory to judge both the quick and the dead, whose kingdom shall have no end. “And we believe in the Holy Spirit, the Lord and Giver of Life, who proceedeth from the Father, who with the Father and the Son together is worshiped and glorified, who spoke by the prophets. And we believe in one holy catholic and apostolic Church. We acknowledge one baptism for the remission of sins. And we look for the resurrection of the dead, and the life of the world to come. Amen."
